Important Note from the Motorcycle and OHV Industry

MMIC News, Uncategorized

The Motorcycle and Moped Industry Council (MMIC) wants to assure you that in these very challenging times, we are still working hard on behalf of the motorcycle and off-highway vehicle industry, aftermarket suppliers, dealers and riding community.

We are focusing on those issues that are most critical to the continued health of riding in Canada and the men and women who are employed, directly and indirectly, by the dealers, aftermarket products and service providers and the distributors and manufacturers of motorcycles, scooters, and off-highway vehicles.

We urge you to follow best practises for the containment of this serious threat to our health and lifestyle.

Please adopt the best cleaning and hygiene practises that will ensure those still in the workplace are as safe as possible from the COVID-19 virus. Please also have patience when dealing with people that may be operating understaffed and from temporary work places.  And please support your local businesses when it is safe to do so.

As we all know, motorcycling and off-road riding are great ways to relieve stress. Please ensure, however, that you are complying with all municipal, provincial and national policies and maintain two meters physical distance between people when you are in public.

On behalf of the men and women of MMIC, COHV and PSS, we wish you all a very safe, happy and healthy spring and summer.

Best Regards,

Bob Ramsay

President
