VANCOUVER, B.C. (January 26) – The 35th annual Vancouver Motorcycle Show drew in31,873 bike enthusiasts this past weekend.
Held at the Tradex, Trade and Exhibition Centre in Abbotsford from January 22 to 24, the three-day manufacturers’ showcase featured hundreds of new motorcycles, scooters, ATV’s and performances ranging from safety demonstrations to jaw-dropping bike and ATV stunts.
“Not only did we see a strong attendance to launch the 2016 motorcycling season in British Columbia, exhibitors reported their sales figures were up from last year,” said Show Manager Laurie Paetz. “Right from the show’s opening day on Friday, fans of the sport were incredibly excited to see the visually stunning new models and amazing performances at this year’s show.”
Event highlights included: motorcycle stunts by Team Empire’s world-renowned Nick “Apex” Brocha & Ernie “EDub” Vigil; ATV stunts by local hero Bill Hitchon; rock and roll mini-road racing with rockabilly band The Vicious Cycles; demonstrations from the Pacific Coast Mini RoadRacing Club; and lessons for riders ages six to 12 conducted by the Yamaha Riding Academy.

Courtesy of Canadian Kawasaki, a 2016 Kawasaki Ninja 300 was drawn on Friday night as a part of SHE Rides Night,and the weekend’s grand prize, a 2016 Bonneville 800 Street Twin, provided by Triumph Motorcycles and valued at $12,000, was drawn Sunday night.

VANCOUVER, BC (January 22, 2016) – Start your engines! Beginning today until January 24th, the 2016 Vancouver Motorcycle Show will bring the newest bikes, most breathtaking stunts, and latest gear to Abbotsford’s Tradex, Trade and Exhibition Centre. Drawing thousands of fans every year, the Show presents hundreds of the latest makes and models of motorcycles, ATVs and scooters that are sure to thrill every rider.
Tonight is also SHE RIDES NITE, celebrating women of all ages and abilities who ride motorcycles. After 5 pm, all females will have half-price admission, while women over 18 can enter a draw to win a 2016 Kawasaki Ninja 300. Vancouver-based racing champion Spero Benias, who ranked number one in all of last season’s classes and is a WMRC champion, will be on-site to sign autographs Saturday from 6 pm to 7 pm and Sunday from 1 pm to 2 pm, while fan-favourite “Wild Bill” Hitchon will be returning to wow with stunts on four wheels on opening day at 1:30 pm, 3:30 pm and 6 pm, Saturday at 11:45 am and 1:45 pm and Sunday at 12 pm, 1:45 pm and 3:30 pm.

VANCOUVER, BC (January 19, 2016) – Beginning this Friday, Abbotsford’s Tradex, Trade and Exhibition Centre will be filled with hundreds of the latest and top-of-the-line motorcycles for the 35th annual Vancouver Motorcycle Show, running from January 22nd to 24th. VANCOUVER, BC (January 6, 2016) – Almost 50 years have passed since Easy Rider, arguably the best biker movie of all time, roared onto the silver screen. Yet the film’s legendary status and mass appeal continues to live on today at events like the annual Vancouver Motorcycle Show.
Running January 22 to 24 2016 at the Tradex Exhibition Centre in Abbotsford, the show has consistently attracted riders and rider wanna-bes of all ages and ability. Show producer Laurie Paetz says the show’s diversity and massive selection of bikes and line-up of entertainment is what fans keep coming back for.
