2017 KAWASAKI NINJA 300 UP FOR GRABS TO FEMALE RIDERS ON SHE RIDES NIGHT AT THE MOTORCYCLE SHOW-TORONTO IN FEBRUARY All major manufacturers confirm participation at the Enercare Centre show

TORONTO (December 7, 2016) – When the doors close on the opening day of the 2017 Motorcycle Show-Toronto presented by Dalton Timmis Insurance, which runs at Exhibition Place’s Enercare Centre February 17-19, one lucky woman will walk away with the keys to a new 2017 Kawasaki Ninja 300.

Awarded by Canadian Kawasaki Motors, the prize is the highlight of She Rides Night, a celebration of women who ride or are considering taking up the sport. This motorcycle boasts nimble handling, balanced suspension, and a silky-smooth ride that is irresistible to experienced track riders as well as novice road riders looking to sharpen their skills.

In addition to the ladies-only draw for the Ninja 300, She Rides Night will feature half-price admission for women after 5:00 pm, plus an entertaining evening of programming, with demos, celebrities and other activities that appeal to women riders.

“We’re delighted to have Canadian Kawasaki back with us a sponsor of She Rides Night and know the Ninja 300 prize will generate a lot of excitement and anticipation at the show Friday night,” said the Show’s Manager, Neil Fardy. “She Rides Night is all about encouraging women who ride, or are thinking about it, to bring along their girlfriends for a fun night out. Friday night parking is free for everyone, so we’re expecting another great turnout.”

In other news, all of the major motorcycle manufacturers have confirmed their participation at the 2017 Toronto Show. The brand line-up of 2017 motorcycle, scooter, ATV and side-by-side models includes Aprilia, BMW Motorrad, Can-Am BRP, Harley-Davidson, Ducati, Honda, Husqvarna, Indian, Kawasaki, KTM, Moto Guzzi, Piaggio, Polaris, Suzuki, Triumph, Vespa, Victory and Yamaha.

This is Ontario’s only stop on the motorcycle manufacturers’ official national seven-city show tour, which kicks-off in Calgary in early January. In addition to new bikes, enthusiasts can check-out the latest in riding apparel, accessories, touring destinations, and many other exciting exhibits all under one roof.

The family-friendly show has several special features that appeal to riders of all ages and experience levels, including Yamaha’s Riding Academy for Kids and their Riding Skills Demo’s with expert Clinton Smout,  motorcycle stunt shows with Canadian star Craig Latimer, and Jordan Szoke’s Extreme Show, featuring the Hall-of-Famer’s trials demos. The Ontario Provincial Police’s Golden Helmets precision riding team has just confirmed they will be back at the show in February.
